[Mission of the Role]

The Application Team Leader is a senior technical leader responsible for ensuring robust system integration, bench/vehicle level performance validation, and production readiness of STRADVISION’s camera-based ADAS perception solutions.

This role serves as a key technical bridge between Algorithm, System, and Validation teams, while leading technical execution and communication with OEM and Tier-1 customers throughout PoC, Evaluation, and SOP phases.


[Key Responsibilities]

Team Leadership & Technical Ownership

  • Lead and manage the ADAS perception application team
  • Define application strategies across project phases (PoC, Evaluation, SOP)
  • Drive technical decision-making, risk management, and prioritization
  • Mentor team members and foster continuous technical growth

Vehicle Integration & Performance Validation

  • Own vehicle integration of front-camera-based ADAS perception systems
  • Lead vehicle testing, performance evaluation, and issue resolution
  • Conduct and guide root cause analysis across:
  • Sensor and camera hardware
  • Installation and vehicle integration
  • ISP pipelines and calibration
  • Algorithm and system-level interactions
  • Benchmark ADAS perception performance across various vehicles in the automotive market
  • Support high-level measurement and performance analysis of STRADVISION’s perception features
  • Develop and maintain standardized system engineering processes within STRADVISION

Algorithm & System Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with software developers and project stakeholders to define system and vehicle requirements
  • Ensure alignment between perception algorithm requirements and vehicle/system constraints
  • Lead vehicle-level tuning strategies (thresholds, confidence levels, temporal logic)
  • Act as the primary technical interface between Algorithm, System, and Validation teams

Production & Regulatory Readiness

  • Lead technical execution and responses for global ADAS regulations and rating programs (e.g., Euro NCAP, FMVSS/NHTSA, GSR)
  • Ensure production readiness and SOP performance stability
  • Manage customer quality issues and perform field issue analysis

Customer & Stakeholder Communication

  • Lead technical discussions with OEM and Tier-1 customers
  • Clearly communicate performance status, limitations, risks, and improvement plans
  • Own PoC activities, evaluations, and vehicle demonstrations
  • Drive technical reviews, reports, and presentations in English


[Basic Qualifications]

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or related fields)
  • 8+ years of system engineering experience at automotive Tier-1/2 suppliers or OEMs
  • Solid understanding of automotive development processes, including Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262
  • Strong hands-on experience with camera-based perception system vehicle integration
  • Experience with automotive networks (CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet, FlexRay)
  • Experience with measurement and analysis tools (e.g., Vector CANalyzer, CANape)
  • Fundamental understanding of ADAS functions and systems
  • Ability to deliver results in fast-paced, highly constrained, and innovative startup environments
  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient written and spoken English
  • Proven experience leading technical projects or teams
  • Strong communication skills with global OEM and Tier-1 customers


[Preferred Qualifications]

  • Deep understanding of ADAS perception functions (Object Detection, Lane Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition, HBA, etc.)
  • Experience with Euro NCAP, FMVSS, and GSR evaluation programs
  • Practical knowledge of camera sensors, ISP pipelines, and calibration processes
  • Experience with ISO 26262 and/or SOTIF
  • Experience with HIL, SIL, and simulation environments
  • Engineering experience supporting series production ADAS customer projects
  • Customer-facing demonstration experience for camera-based ADAS perception systems
