  • STRADVISION is the FIRST deep-learning based technology start-up company in the world who has obtained ASPICE CL2 certification in 2019.
  • STRADVISION has also been honored with the AutoSens Awards for ‘Best-in-Class Software for Perception Systems’(Gold Award Winner) for 2 years in a row(2021, 2022).   
  • STRADVISION’s outstanding technology was recognized worldwide by successfully completing the Series C funding at KRW 107.6 billion with Aptiv and ZF Group in August, 2022.
  • About 167 patents related to autonomous driving/ADAS have been acquired in Korea, Japan, US and Europe. As of today, STRADVISION is actively developing our technology to be differentiated.

[Mission of the Role] 

  • As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for Functional Safety Engineering, with a focus on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Driving (AD) technologies.
  • In Functional Safety Engineering, you will define and refine safety technical concepts, derive safety requirements, and design safety architectures and mechanisms. You will oversee the creation and management of safety engineering work products, ensuring they adhere to ISO 26262 standards and align with the functional safety lifecycle. You will also maintain and update safety requirements to support evolving project needs and ensure compliance with ASPICE processes.
  • This role emphasizes ADAS system engineering, integrating functional safety practices to deliver safe and reliable solutions.  

 

[Key Responsibilities]

  • Perform safety analyses, including FMEA and DFA, to identify risks and derive actionable safety requirements for driving or parking systems.
  • Refine and implement the Technical Safety Concept (TSC) based on customer-provided safety requirements and safety analysis results.
  • Design safety mechanisms based on the provided TSC and derived safety requirements, ensuring alignment with ASIL-specific criteria.
  • Lead the implementation and validation of safety mechanisms through diagnostic coverage analysis and fault injection testing, ensuring ISO 26262 compliance.
  • Ensure that safety engineering work products, such as the Safety Plan, TSC, TSR, and validation reports, comply with ISO 26262 standards and meet quality requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with ASPICE requirements engineering processes.


[Basic Qualifications] 

  • 5+ years of related experience in automotive industry, SW related industry 
  • 2+ year experience in requirement engineering or functional safety engineering
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Computer, Automotive or Mechanical engineering  
  • Strong understanding of automotive software development lifecycle per Functional Safety 
  • Experience of ALM or requirement engineering tools; codebeamer, Polarion, DOORS, Enterprise Architect and etc.
  • Excellent communication skills in written, spoken
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written 

 

[Preferred Qualifications] 

  • 3+ years of experience in AD or ADAS project teams, or 2+ years with ASIL-B or above safety-related products, or experience in active safety technologies such as ADAS, cameras, or embedded platforms.
  • Understanding of software architectures related to ADAS/AD systems 
  • Understanding of computer vision, image sensing or embedded systems
  • Experience of safety analysis tools: Medini Analyze, IQ-FMEA
  • Experience of working with local automotive customers(OEMs, Tier-1s)
