  • STRADVISION is the FIRST deep-learning based technology start-up company in the world who has obtained ASPICE CL2 certification in 2019.
  • STRADVISION has also been honored with the AutoSens Awards for ‘Best-in-Class Software for Perception Systems’(Gold Award Winner) for 2 years in a row(2021, 2022).   
  • STRADVISION’s outstanding technology was recognized worldwide by successfully completing the Series C funding at KRW 107.6 billion with Aptiv and ZF Group in August, 2022.
  • About 167 patents related to autonomous driving/ADAS have been acquired in Korea, Japan, US and Europe. As of today, STRADVISION is actively developing our technology to be differentiated.

[Mission of the Role] 

  • The AI Safety Manager oversees the design and management of policies and processes aligned with SOTIF (Safety of the Intended Functionality) standards. This role emphasizes safety analysis, regulatory compliance strategy, and cross-functional collaboration. The AI Safety Manager takes a leading role in ensuring that AI technologies are developed and deployed in adherence to safety, ethical, and legal requirements, while providing technical guidance and leadership across the organization.

 

[Key Responsibilities]

  • Compliance with SOTIF Processes: Apply and ensure compliance with SOTIF processes throughout the AI system development lifecycle.
  • Safety Design and Development Management: Define AI system safety requirements and integrate them into the design and development processes to ensure safe product development.
  • Leading Risk Analysis and Safety Evaluation: Lead hazard analysis and risk assessments (HARA) and safety evaluations, identifying areas for improvement based on the results.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Manage AI safety-related activities and lead the team to achieve safety goals and drive process improvements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, product development, legal, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Integrate the latest safety trends into ongoing process improvements and provide training and development opportunities for the team.
  • Documentation: Create and manage safety documentation and records in compliance with SOTIF standards.           


[Basic Qualifications] 

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software, Electrical Engineering or Technical equivalent
  • Experience with Automotive Standards such as ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
  • Knowledge in AI safety,especially SOTIF (ISO 21448)
  • Fluent in Korean and English

 

[Preferred Qualifications] 

  • Practical experience in analyzing the nominal performance of AI-based systems, determining performance metrics, and implementing performance improvements.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive safety engineering, particularly in relation to ISO 26262, ISO 21448, functional and technical safety concepts, and safety analysis methods such as HAZOP, HARA, FMEA with a focus on SOTIF and emerging AI regulations.
