  • STRADVISION’s outstanding technology was recognized worldwide by successfully completing the Series C funding at KRW 107.6 billion with Aptiv and ZF Group in August, 2022.
  • About 167 patents related to autonomous driving/ADAS have been acquired in Korea, Japan, US and Europe. As of today, STRADVISION is actively developing our technology to be differentiated.

[Mission of the Role]

  • The Engineering Productivity Manager (EPM) is at the forefront of enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering organization. Within STRADVISION's unique technology development environment, which is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge perception technology for various automotive SoCs, the EPM plays a pivotal role in crafting customized processes and tools. These initiatives are aimed at empowering our engineers, streamlining workflows, and ensuring the swift delivery of high-quality software, all of which contribute to keeping STRADVISION at the industry’s leader position of innovation in perception technology. [Key Responsibilities]

  • In this role, you will lead a range of projects focused on enhancing engineering productivity, as outlined below. You will work closely with engineers and team leaders to initiate and execute these projects, ensuring alignment with the overarching mission of the EPM. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and measuring progress throughout.

      

  • Process and Framework Development: Innovate, develop, and maintain processes and frameworks that empower our engineers to efficiently deliver software on their target platforms.
  • Cross-Platform Development Optimization: Minimize the complexity and overhead of customizing and deploying algorithms and AI models across various target platforms. Continuously improve the development environment and software architecture to facilitate seamless adaptation.
  • Bottleneck Identification: Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in the engineering process to enable smoother and faster product development.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to our engineering teams, equipping them with the knowledge and resources they need to excel their velocity and to keep the work quality high, such as coding best practices and collaborative SW development.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teams and departments to enhance the overall development process. Share insights, best practices, and tools that contribute to the organization's success. This collaboration includes but is not limited to, a) Collaborating with the ML/Data Platform to design and develop tools and infrastructure that automate engineering workflows, thus enabling our engineers to work more efficiently. b) Working closely with the Software Integration team to strengthen our CI/CD infrastructure, ensuring a high level of software development and deployment speed and quality. c) Partnering with the Data Engineering group to reduce the lead time for our ML training and evaluation datasets, from collection to readiness for engineers to utilize them. d) Cooperating with the Process team to align our development process with the automotive standard like ASPICE.        
  • Data Quality and Flow Productivity: Enhance the efficiency of managing and operating data workflows. Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality, accessibility, and processing efficiency of data across engineering projects, directly contributing to increased productivity and data quality.
  • External Solutions Management: Review, apply, and manage external solutions to ensure timely delivery and effectiveness of related projects.


[Basic Qualifications] 

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong technical background and hands-on experience in software development or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English and Korean (written and spoken) 

 

[Preferred Qualifications] 

  • Experience in one of the popular programming / scripting languages such as C++ / Python
  • A master's or PhD in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing cross-functional engineering teams or projects
  • Experience in ML or Computer Vision system development
  • Experience in various embedded systems
  • Experience in automotive or autonomous driving software development
